Google Pixel 10 leaks ahead of schedule and here is what it looks like

It looks like Google is gearing up for the launch of its next flagship smartphone, the Pixel 10. Leaks from what appears to be a commercial shoot for the upcoming device have surfaced online, offering an early glimpse at the phone's design and potential new AI features. The images include behind-the-scenes photos from a professional video production and a storyboard that identifies the device as the Google Pixel 10.

According to the leaker, this was a “full-on commercial shoot,” indicating that the tech giant is deep into preparations for the phone’s official unveiling. Notably, the Pixel 10 campaign appears to be running with the tagline: “Ask more of your phone,” a likely nod to the new AI functionalities Google recently introduced at its I/O 2025 developer conference.

Google Pixel 10 design leaked

While the Pixel 10 remains officially unannounced, the leaked visuals suggest that the design closely mirrors that of the Pixel 9 Pro. The handset seen in the shoot sports a triple-lens camera setup — a feature previously exclusive to the Pro model — hinting that Google may be standardising the triple-camera system across the Pixel 10 range.

Design-wise, the Pixel 10 retains the familiar layout, with the power button and volume rocker positioned in the same place as previous models. The unit featured in the shoot appears to be the Obsidian (black) variant, one of the core colour options Google typically offers. In past launches, the company has also introduced colourways such as Porcelain, Peony, and Wintergreen.

Google traditionally launches its flagship smartphones in late summer, and the Pixel 10 is expected to follow the same timeline, with a possible debut in August 2025. Last year’s Pixel 9 series launched around the same time, and the early start to marketing efforts suggests a similar schedule for this year.

Given the recent AI announcements around Google’s Gemini platform at I/O 2025, the Pixel 10 may come loaded with new generative AI capabilities. If the tagline “Ask more of your phone” is any indication, users can expect deeper integration of AI tools, positioning the Pixel 10 as more than just an iterative upgrade.

Among the headline features is a new capability dubbed “Video Generative ML,” an AI-driven video editing function set to be embedded within Google Photos. Additional innovations include “Speak-to-Tweak,” a voice-controlled tool that enables users to modify images simply by issuing spoken commands, and “Sketch-to-Image,” a creative feature that turns user-made sketches into photorealistic visuals — echoing a similar tool seen in Samsung’s Galaxy AI suite. These upgrades underscore Google's commitment to positioning the Pixel 10 as a flagship device centred on next-generation AI integration.

Google Pixel 10 rumours

According to earlier leaks, Google’s upcoming Pixel 10 is expected to be powered by the new Tensor G5 chipset, paired with 12GB of RAM as standard. Meanwhile, the Pixel 10 Pro may offer an upgraded variant boasting 16GB of RAM, mirroring the configuration seen in the Pixel 9 Pro series.

A recent Geekbench listing has also shed some light on the development process, revealing that the Tensor G5 is currently being tested on Android 15. However, as per Google’s typical release strategy, the Pixel 10 line is likely to launch with Android 16 pre-installed, marking the debut of the latest operating system.

On the imaging front, concept renders have hinted at an ambitious triple-camera system. The proposed setup includes a 64-megapixel primary sensor, a 64-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 64-megapixel periscope telephoto camera, with potential support for up to 50x digital zoom. It’s important to note, however, that these camera specifications stem from conceptual artwork and not official sources, so they should be treated with a degree of caution.

With a few months left until the expected launch, further leaks are likely to follow. But for now, the commercial shoot has provided the clearest look yet at what Google may be bringing to market later this year.
