India wrestler Vinesh Phogat was honoured with a gold medal upon her arrival back to her native village in Balali, Haryana. The 29-year-old will became the first Indian woman to qualify for the wrestling finals in the Olympics.
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Friday accused Pakistan of attempting to rebuild its terror infrastructure dismantled by India during Operation Sindoor. Speaking at the Bhuj airbase, Singh praised Indian “air warriors” for their role in the operation and issued a strong message to the International Monetary Fund (IMF), urging it to reconsider its recent bailout package to Pakistan.

In a strong endorsement of Operation Sindoor, American urban warfare expert Colonel (Retd) John Spencer praised India’s display of both offensive and defensive dominance. He stated that the operation sent a clear message: India can strike "anywhere in Pakistan, anytime."
