An Air India flight crashed shortly after it took-off with 242 people on board from the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport in Ahmedabad on Thursday afternoon.
Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson, Randhir Jaiswal, confirmed the loss of many lives, including several foreigners, in the Air India plane crash in Ahmedabad. He extended his deepest condolences to the families of the victims.
Aviation expert Mirza Faizan suggests the crash might have occurred due to issues in the propulsion system, possibly engine failure or fuel system problems.
