Pakistan's water minister has written to the Government of India, appealing to reconsider its decision to suspend the Indus Waters Treaty, according to sources.
Sources added that in the letter to the Ministry of External Affairs, Pakistan's Ministry of Water Resources said the decision to pause the agreement would create a crisis in the country.

The Supreme Court refused to pass a stay order on the FIR, with the Chief Justice emphasising the responsibility of those in constitutional positions.
